Feel. Play. Create. Share. Repeat.

It’s how you are designed.

The origins of the foundation of who and what we are can easily be found in the eyes, sounds and actions of a child. For some reason it still seems like we think that as we get older we aren’t supposed to play anymore. It’s not appropriate. It’s unattractive. It’s unprofessional. It’s unproductive. We’re supposed to work and that is done in a certain way in order to gain the acceptance and respect of others so that we can have what we want and survive. Culturally, the word ‘work’ has an energetic tension to it that is inherent in its history. Most people end up working for money. It literally becomes our boss energetically. You often literally ‘work FOR money’, which is how most have come to believe we need to do in order to survive. The history of the word work and its origins is fascinating. Often when we adopt languages they can be translated slightly differently like a game of telephone where the original word is lost not realizing vibrationally where it came from Is still vibrating underneath it. And this is heitheir good nor bad. It is just about realizing what we are creating. That is not to say that specific word always means that. It is vibrational. It is a cultural context from a wider lens.Realizing that perhaps in some way, though not as obvious, we might be vibrationally in the same circumstance that feels more free than perhaps it is Or we have allowed.

Work: activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result; a task or tasks to be undertaken; something a person or thing has to do.

Origin: “Words indicating labour in most European languages originate in an imagery of compulsion, torment, affliction and persecution. The French word travail (and Spanish trabajo), like its English equivalent, are derived from the Latin trepaliare – to torture, to inflict suffering or agony. The word peine, meaning penalty or punishment, also is used to signify arduous labour, something accomplished with great effort. The German Arbeit suggests effort, hardship and suffering; it is cognate with the Slavonic rabota (from which English derives "robot"), a word meaning corvee, forced or serf labour. In romance languages, words from the Latin laborare have come to mean ploughing or tilling the earth, although in Italian, lavoro also means work in general. The Latin meaning was anything accomplished with difficulty and struggle.

The English "work" has an Indo-European stem werg-, via Greek ergon, meaning deed or action without punitive connotations; and Latin urgere, to press, bear down upon or compel. It is cognate with Gothic wrikan, to persecute, and Old English wrecan. Thus, in the word "work", violence is latent, and it appears in the form wreak, when we speak of wreaking havoc or vengeance. "Toil" derives from Old French, meaning argument or dispute, fight and struggle.”

Though we didn’t come here to survive. That is trying not to die. We can do that. After all, we are all expressions of God. Of source. Of the universe. We can create anything. Including death, sickness, wealth, magic and more. We came here to create. To have fun. To thrive. To feel and to remember how perfect we are. Remembering that the universe doesn’t make mistakes. We just often perceive it does from our limited perspective and often go on to blame ourselves or other humans for all the things wrong in the universe. Thinking there is something wrong, acknowledging a problem and then wanting to fix the problem that we diagnosed in the first place. Tethers to an ancient story of shame and blame buried deep in our physiology with the need to fix ourselves Thinking we are less than perfect. We just forgot and in that space forget to play.

One of the most common questions that we typically ask one another is:

”What do you do for work?”

If you are in the creative professions it is often - “What is your real/money/survival job?“

The origins of the word Job can be traced back to the Hebrew spelling meaning ‘persecuted and hated’. So much of what we say is taken for granted and energetically out of context. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with this. There is nothing wrong with any of it. It is just interesting that so much of what we do and say has since been disconnected from its original meaning yet are culturally and linguistically new versions of the same idea. It just looks different. Though it is not how we are designed. We can do anything though our natural design is to play.

A lot of the highest paid individuals in the world are payed the most money for playing. For playing sports, playing a role, playing with ideas, playing the stock market, play with real estate, playing with computers, etc. The most creative state is play. It opens up the boundaries of limitations and gives space for the universe to move us. To show us opportunities and moments of inspiration that can only be discovered through the allowance of play. At it greatest potential it is a vibrational flow that matches that of effortless creation. Though in truth we are always in a state of play if we can remember it and you can play from an emotional state be it anger, terror, sadness, happiness, ecstasy. . . We can and are playing in all of it though often not consciously or with . That‘s when it becomes work, trauma and programming. Though those are also a state of play - just not the way that we think of it. Yet it’s potential to create something different still exists. It is only when we judge our emotions or devalue them that we limit their potential. For they too are divine and they too have a purpose and a message. And they too, like all other vibrations in the universe, want to be heard and have a story. To inspire creation and be a part of our story. All emotions are equal and all are expressions of the heart. They are the language of the heart and to numb one is to numb them all. For it is only when we judge that we are unable to see the divine perfection and inspiration in any and everything.

“What if creation is not confined to a certain range of feelings or an inspired mood? Couldn't you pick up a brush and instantly face the state you are in and use it? Creativity would be very limited if it could exist only in rare circumstances. There is energy and creative potential in all states. As long as life is there, the potential is full.” - from the inspiring book Life, Paint and Passion: Reclaiming the Magic of Spontaneous Expression, co-authored by Stewart Cubley.

We are literally vessels. Vessels through which the energy of life/source/God is us and flows through us in a constant state of desire and creation. Vessels designed to feel. It is through the act of feeling that we feel alive and why, when we try to numb our greatest source of power thinking it bad or a problem, we stop living and become standardized operating systems. There is nothing wrong with that. We just aren’t aware that we are choosing it. IT becomes a norm. We don’t know what we don’t know. Staying within the programming, beliefs and limitations that are hidden deep inside of us for 100s if not 1000s of generations and lifetimes. Repeating patterns as we continue to explore and expand through different experiences leaning and expanding into new moments of fear and excitement and desire and discord. All of them are equal and divine - just ss everything else. We are equal to the moon, the sun, the earth, the furniture we sit on and the animals we love harvest and eat. All divine creations of light and expressions of God at different vibrational frequencies and with different expressions. All playing a part and all a part of the story. A story. Everything is a story. Language is a story. A huge story. Often to understand a deeper truth to the vibrational intent of a word and what we are creating we can look to it’s origins - it’s root as its meaning can often get shifted, misunderstood, or buried in time and culture.

DEFINITIONS (current and original vibrations)

Play: activity engaged in for enjoyment and recreation, especially by children.

Origin: Old English pleg(i)an ‘to exercise’, plega ‘brisk movement’, related to Middle Dutch pleien ‘leap for joy, dance’.

Recreation / Re-creation: activity done for enjoyment when one is not working

Origin: late Middle English "refreshment or curing of a sick person" (also in the sense ‘mental or spiritual consolation’): via Old French from Latin recreatio(n- ), from recreare ‘create again, renew’.

Exercise: bodily or mental exertion, especially for the sake of training or improvement of health.

Origin: It is from the Latin “ex", meaning thoroughly, and “arcere", to keep in or away, which led to the Latin “exercere", meaning to keep busy or practice.

The vibrational resonance of words and their history is embedded in our culture and being through time. It is a resonance fo words and the energy of them. there is nothing wrong with any of this. The question is . . . are we conscious of the words we are using, their vibrational resonance and are these the words we want to use? Is this what we want to create?

What if we asked each other “What do you do for play?“, “How do you play?” or “What do you want to create?“ ”What is your passion?”

Inherently we are designed to, first and foremost, feel. We are sensory creatures and behave according to what we feel, which inspires a form of play and/or behavior that is in the form of words, movement, breathe, etc. and then create something. A moment, a sound, a movement, a thought that eventually becomes a creation. How we feel is influenced by our relationship with other energies - people, places, things, environments, elements, sounds, music, etc. It can affect how we feel based on our opinion, resonance, belief or judgement of what is in front of us. Consequentry can influence how we feel, play/behave and consequently create and even if we decide to share. Sharing is a key part of creation. When we share our creations they inspire other energies into more creating wether that is from discord, curiosity, excitement or fear it is still inspiring creation.

Yet a lot of our culture tries not to feel. It tries to numb pain forgetting that we built to feel. that pain is a just a feeling. A story of compressed energy in the physiology yet to be expressed. Pain and pleasure are the same thing. Pain is compressed emotional energy (love) while Pleasure is simply emotional energy in flow. When we feel emotional energy in our bodies it is wanting to inspire a creation of some sort. though if we repress that energy and don’t allow it or express it we are still going to create something though insread of outside the body it is inside the body. Acting like a magnet that pulls in life circumstance inspiring it to be expressed outside the body. Otherwise it can create disease to inspire us to do, feel and hear what we were not able to do because we were scared of something. To live again Instead of just survive. Everything is a sound frequency. A sound frequency that is connected to a story during which we thought it wasn’t safe to feel, to express, to Crete or share. A love stories - Including disease. Nothing in the universe is here to try to kill us. Everything wants to inspire us to live. Truly live and love more than we though possible Perhaps because we forgot that we were safe. We forgot that we are designed to feel. That we are here to create and that we are expressions of god having a human experience while we continually remember what is possible As we pursue our dreams and write love stories In the process.

Feel.

It is the language of the heart.

The language of the universe.

Allow it to move you as you play with and discover its expression

and create a moment, a thing, a word, a thought, a sound, a movement

and then share it with the world

So you can inspire life

to continue to expand into remembering our endless potential

and be a part of each other’s love stories.
